Development Description

Overview

One Museum Place is a rare architectural statement, a collaboration between developer John Wieland and the internationally acclaimed firm of Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects, set on one of the most culturally significant blocks in the American South. With only 44 residences arranged across two intimate five-story buildings, One Museum Place delivers a level of exclusivity, design intentionality, and material craftsmanship that stands apart from anything else in Midtown Atlanta.

Architecture and Design

The building earned a 2018 AIA Georgia Merit Award for its bold yet refined approach. Rather than a monolithic tower, the design organizes homes around a lushly planted central courtyard conceived by landscape architects Reed Hilderbrand and Sylvatica Studio. Natural slate rainscreen panels in three distinct patterns, sand-colored brick, Swiss Pearl composite cladding, and Kolbe ultra-lux windows combine to give each residence its own visible identity from the street. Subtle recesses, bump-outs, and varied fenestration ensure that no two units read the same way from the sidewalk, respecting the individuality of each homeowner while maintaining a cohesive architectural language.

Residences

Every home is a single-level plan ranging from 1,212 to over 5,200 square feet, with configurations spanning one to three bedrooms and up to 3.5 bathrooms. Interiors feature 10 to 12-foot ceilings, site-finished hardwood floors, solid-core wood doors, and crown molding. Chef's kitchens are equipped with professional-grade Gaggenau appliances, custom cabinetry, and granite countertops. Bathrooms showcase Waterworks plumbing fixtures, jetted tubs, and imported tile. Each residence includes a cedar-clad outdoor lanai with a sink and gas grill, and select fifth-floor homes offer rooftop terraces up to 1,600 square feet. Direct-service elevators and private enclosed garages provide true door-to-door privacy.

Amenities

The ground floor houses a curated suite of shared spaces with direct pedestrian access to Peachtree Street. An Owners' Lounge with a full catering kitchen and bar anchors the social spaces, complemented by private wine lockers and a dedicated event room. The fitness center includes yoga and massage rooms, and a furnished guest suite accommodates visiting friends and family. The gated community features 24-hour concierge and security, EV charging stations, bike storage, and a landscaped pet walk.

Location and Lifestyle

One Museum Place sits at the cultural heart of Midtown, directly across Peachtree Street from the High Museum of Art and steps from the Woodruff Arts Center (home to the Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra). The community borders historic Ansley Park, offering tree-lined walks and park views in a setting that feels worlds away from the energy of the Midtown Mile just blocks south.

Dining and Retail Nearby

The Peachtree Street corridor between 10th and 17th Streets delivers one of Atlanta's densest concentrations of dining, from acclaimed tasting menus to casual sidewalk cafes. Colony Square, Atlantic Station, and the boutiques along the Midtown Mile are all within a short walk. Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden sit less than half a mile east, reachable on foot via 15th Street.

The Lifestyle

The Arts Center MARTA station (Red and Gold lines) is a three-minute walk, providing seamless connectivity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and destinations across the metro. Interstate access via I-75 and I-85 is minutes away. Whether the evening calls for a gallery opening at the High, a symphony performance at the Woodruff, or a quiet dinner overlooking the courtyard garden, One Museum Place positions its owners at the very center of the life they want to lead.
