Overview

Rising 50 stories and 635 feet above Buckhead's Peachtree Road, Sovereign is the tallest residential structure in Georgia. Completed in 2008 by Regent Partners, this mixed-use landmark houses just 82 private residences on floors 28 through 50. Below the residences, Class A office space occupies floors 8 through 26, while the ground level is anchored by the acclaimed Bistro Niko and The Buckhead Club, a private city club on the 26th floor.

Architecture and Design

Designed by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart and Associates, Sovereign's sinuous form twists counterclockwise as it rises, creating a sculptural mass of overlapping curves that culminates in dramatic penthouse levels. The multi-award-winning design unites the tower's mixed-use program into one signature architectural expression. Inside, artist Todd Murphy curated a permanent collection of more than 50 sculptures, photographs, and mixed-media pieces. His signature installation spans 20 illuminated lightboxes in the elevator lobbies on floors 28 through 47, depicting a continuous tree symbolizing Atlanta's cultural evolution. The collection also features works by Deborah Butterfield and Michael Stipe.

Residences

Eighteen unique floor plans offer two, three, and four-bedroom configurations ranging from 1,563 to more than 10,000 square feet. Every residence sits above the 28th floor, with panoramic views of Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown, Stone Mountain, and the Perimeter corridor. Interiors feature 10-foot ceilings (14 feet in penthouses), floor-to-ceiling windows, and covered terraces reaching over 3,000 square feet with outdoor fireplaces and gas grills. Kitchens include Sub-Zero refrigerators, Wolf cooktops, warming drawers, wine refrigerators, and custom cabinetry. Master baths feature jetted soaking tubs, walk-in showers, dual vanities, and imported tile.

Amenities

The 28th and 29th floors are devoted to resident amenities. The 28th floor features a zero-entry saline pool and Jacuzzi with an outdoor fireplace, gas grills, and lush landscaping. A casual lounge, climate-controlled wine storage, and a 5,000-square-foot fitness center with steam rooms and massage rooms occupy the same level. The 29th floor houses a formal lounge with piano, media room, catering kitchen, bar, and conference room. Twenty-four-hour concierge, valet parking, and on-site security ensure seamless daily living. Homeowners receive a complimentary one-year membership to The Buckhead Club, a private city club with panoramic views and gourmet dining that has served Atlanta's leaders since 1988.
